Who we are
Seawall Digital provides digital services and technology consulting to independent insurance agencies. This website is operated by Black Cloud LLC, a Florida limited liability company, doing business as Seawall Digital, based in St. Augustine, Florida. In this statement, "we" and "us" mean Black Cloud LLC and Seawall Digital.
We are not an insurance agency. We don't sell insurance, and we don't collect information to quote or place insurance.
What we collect
When you use the contact form or email us, we collect what you give us:
- your name
- your agency's name
- your email address
- your phone number
- your message
When you book a call, our scheduling tool collects your name, agency, email, phone and the time you picked.
When you visit the site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views, referring sites, and general device type. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites. Our hosting provider (Vercel) also keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.
Please don't send us policy numbers, customer information, passwords, or anyone's personal or health information through the form. We don't need it to reply.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and schedule the call you asked for.
- To prepare for a conversation with you, and to send a proposal if you ask for one.
- To keep a simple record of our conversations with your agency.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful, and to keep the site secure.
We don't add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you ask to be added. If we send you a follow-up email, you can reply "no thanks" and we will stop.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, trade or share your information for anyone else's marketing.
- We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social media trackers.
- We don't buy data about you from brokers.
- We don't use what you send us to train AI models.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers handle information on our behalf, only to run this website and our business:
- website hosting: Vercel; domain and security: Cloudflare
- email: Google (Gmail), through Cloudflare Email Routing
- contact form delivery: Formspree
- call scheduling: Cal.com
- analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies)
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid subpoena, or to protect our legal rights. If Black Cloud LLC or Seawall Digital is ever sold or merged, this information may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this statement. Your contact details will never be shared with an insurance agency, aggregator or acquirer for their own use.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages and related email for up to two years after our last conversation, then delete them. If your agency becomes a client, we keep records for as long as the engagement runs and for as long as tax and legal record-keeping rules require afterwards. Analytics data is aggregated and holds no personal information.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what information we have about you,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- stop contacting you.
Email hello@seawall.digital. We'll respond within 30 days, and we won't charge you. We may need to confirm it's really you before we act on a request.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and two-factor authentication on the accounts that hold your information, and we limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your personal information ever occurs, we will notify you as Florida law requires.
Client work is covered separately
When an agency hires us, any access we have to the agency's systems or data is governed by our written agreement with that agency, including a data addendum that names every service that handles the agency's data, not by this statement. We don't collect information from an agency's customers through this website.
Bindery demos
If this site shows a demo of Bindery, the AI assistant we build for agencies, the demo answers are general and may be scripted. Nothing you type in a demo is stored or sent to us. Please don't type personal or policy information into a demo.
Children
This website is for business owners and staff. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this statement
If we change this statement, we'll update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
