For independent insurance agencies · St. Augustine, FL

Stay independent. Still compete on technology.

The roll-ups arrive with national marketing and modern systems. Seawall Digital gives owner-run independent agencies the same tools: pipelines that follow up on their own, a website that answers questions at 9pm, and AI that does the prep work, all under your name.

The 20-minute check is free. Digital services and technology consulting. We don't sell insurance.

What is a hurricane deductible?
A hurricane deductible is a separate deductible for hurricane damage. In Florida it's usually a percentage of your dwelling coverage, such as 2% or 5%, instead of a flat dollar amount, and it generally applies once per calendar year. Your declarations page shows which applies to you.

The pressure

Independent agencies are being bought, one by one

National consolidators are buying independent agencies across Florida, including here in St. Augustine. The agencies still owner-run are competing against marketing budgets and systems they can't match on their own.

Follow-up falls through

X-dates live in a spreadsheet. Prospects get one call, then go quiet. Producers spend their day on admin instead of selling.

The website closes at five

Questions don't keep business hours. A brochure site with a phone number can't answer one at 9pm. We measure how many of your visitors leave without calling or filling in a form.

The tools are paid for but idle

We measure how much of your management system and CRM you actually use. Where the capability is there but the setup never happened, that's the cheapest fix on the list.

What we build

Seven pieces. Start with one, or put them together.

Every example below is built for Salt Run Insurance Group, a fictitious St. Augustine agency, so you can see exactly what your version would look like.

Where it starts

Technology Assessment

We review every system you run, from the management system and CRM to your rater, client portal and website. You get a plain-language report and a prioritized roadmap. It's a fixed fee, quoted before you agree, and you keep the report whether or not we work together after.

  • What you already pay for but don't use
  • Where leads and renewals slip through
  • The three changes worth making first

More written premium

Commercial Growth System

A pipeline that works the book while your producers sell. We write every message in your agency's voice, and a person on your team approves each template before it's used.

  • New-business and VIP renewal pipelines
  • Six written follow-up sequences. Prospects get email and producer call tasks, never cold texts
  • X-date recycling so no expiration is missed
  • Prospect lists built from public license and property records
  • Live in four weeks
Works with what you run. We set up pipelines and follow-up in AgencyZoom today. If you run HawkSoft, EZLynx, Applied Epic or AMS360 without a sales tool, the Assessment tells you in writing whether we can do it in what you have, or what you'd need to add, what it costs per month, and how leads sync back to your management system. No surprise subscriptions.

Agency Website + Bindery

A modern, mobile-first website with your own Bindery assistant built in. It answers customers' and prospects' general Florida insurance questions around the clock, cites a specific statute section or agency page for every answer, and hands every coverage question to a licensed agent at your agency, with the lead captured.

  • Your brand, your voice, your lines and niches
  • Labeled as an automated assistant (AI), never presented as staff
  • Never decides coverage. Claims, policy changes and emergencies get fixed scripts the AI can't rephrase
  • No answer goes live without sign-off from your licensed approver, and anything you flag comes down within 4 business hours
  • Every chat is logged and handed to you, with a one-page risk summary you can send to your E&O carrier
Where it stands today. exitPlan is live today at exitplan.today. Bindery is in final build: founding clients get it first and pay nothing for it until it passes their own staff's testing on their own site.

Do I need flood insurance if I'm not in a flood zone?
Many flood claims come from outside high-risk zones, and standard homeowners policies generally exclude flood. Whether you need it depends on your home, lender and budget. Flood coverage is usually a separate policy, and new policies often have a waiting period before they take effect.
FEMA / NFIPFlorida Office of Insurance Regulation
Am I covered for flood right now?
I can't tell you what your policy covers. A licensed Salt Run agent can look at your policy and answer that directly.

exitPlan for Agencies

Give your homeowner clients a personalized storm and emergency plan under your agency's name, powered by exitPlan. A ten-minute walk-through on their phone produces a hazard map, an evacuation plan, a readiness score and an insurance-ready home inventory. The video is processed on their phone.

  • A reason to call every client before hurricane season
  • Home inventories that make claims go smoother
  • Natural openings for flood and umbrella conversations

AI Workflows

AI that drafts the prep work your team does over and over: renewal reviews, quote summaries, submission packets and client emails. A person on your team reviews everything before it goes out.

  • A first draft of the renewal review, ready for your account manager to check
  • Consistent submissions across producers
  • Quote summaries and client emails drafted in your agency's voice
Your clients' data. Policyholder data is only processed by services we name in writing, under terms that bar training on your data. A person on your team approves everything before it goes out.

Book Transition Planning

When a senior producer retires, relationships and know-how walk out the door with them. We document the accounts, introductions and processes so the book transfers cleanly and the agency keeps its value.

  • Account-by-account relationship notes
  • A planned introduction schedule
  • Processes written down, not remembered

Monthly care

Technology only pays off if someone keeps it running. Website Care covers hosting, Bindery and its answer updates, small site edits and a monthly report on what people asked and how many leads your team received. Full Care adds sequence tuning, AI workflow upkeep, a quarterly review and priority response.

  • One contact who knows your setup
  • Answers kept current with Florida law, approved by your licensed staff
  • Month to month with 30 days' notice. No minimum for founding clients; three months for others

How it works

Assess, build, then keep it running

  1. Assess

A free 20-minute call, then a fixed-fee Technology Assessment of your systems and process. You keep the report and roadmap whether or not we work together after.

  2. Build

We set up the pieces you choose, on the platforms the Assessment confirmed in writing. The Growth System goes live in four weeks, and your team is trained along the way.

  3. Care

We keep it current, measure what it produces, and report monthly. Month to month with 30 days' notice, and if you leave, you keep your domain, your website, your sequence copy and every lead and chat transcript.

What it costs to find out. The 20-minute check is free. The Technology Assessment is a fixed fee, quoted before you agree, credited in full toward any build you sign within 60 days, and refunded if it doesn't find at least three changes worth making.

About

A local consultant who builds what he recommends

Tom SiklerFounder & Principal · St. Augustine, FL

Tom spent 22 years putting software to work inside large companies (IBM, Gloat, Moody's). He isn't an insurance professional and doesn't pretend to be. That's why every Bindery answer cites its source and is approved by your own licensed staff before it goes live.

exitPlan is live today at exitplan.today. Bindery is in final build: founding clients get it first and pay nothing for it until it passes their own staff's testing on their own site.

Seawall Digital works with a small number of St. Augustine agencies at a time, in person.

What we are not

  • Not an insurance agency. We don't sell, quote or advise on insurance.
  • Not an aggregator or a roll-up. We will never compete for your clients or try to buy your agency.
  • Not a long contract. Month to month, and you leave with everything. No minimum for founding clients; three months for others.
Proof before you pay

See it work in your own office before you pay for it

We're new, so we don't ask you to take our word for it. You test the work with your own staff, in your own systems, before the money that matters changes hands.

  1. Bindery on a private test page

Bindery runs on a private test page of your own site. Your staff try to break it for two weeks. It goes public only after your licensed approver signs off, and founding clients pay nothing for Bindery until then.

  2. A working session in your systems

A 2-hour session in your own systems, by screen share with you driving, showing how lost quotes come back to a producer before their x-dates. If it can't be done without new software, you learn that free.

  3. An Assessment with a guarantee

A fixed fee, quoted before you agree. Refunded if the report doesn't find at least three changes you agree are worth making, and credited in full toward any build you sign within 60 days.

  4. Easy to leave

Monthly plans run month to month with 30 days' notice. If you leave, you keep your domain, a complete working copy of your website, your sequence copy, and every lead and chat transcript, handed over within 10 business days. Bindery stops when the monthly plan stops; everything else keeps working.

Your list is yours

We never give one client's prospect list, sequence copy or results to another agency. For 12 months we won't build a prospect list in your core niche, in your county, for anyone else.

If Seawall Digital stops operating

You get at least 90 days' notice, your site and Bindery keep running through that period at no charge, and we hand over the website files, hosting account, domain settings, transcripts and configuration documents. Everything we set up lives in accounts you own, with admin rights in your name from day one.

Founding clients

Three St. Augustine agencies get founding-client terms

We're starting with a small group of local independents. Founding clients get better terms and first say in what we build next. The offer ends March 31, 2027.

  • Founding-client pricing on one-time work, and your monthly price locked for 12 months
  • No minimum term on monthly plans
  • Nothing to pay for Bindery until it passes your staff's testing on your own site
  • Direct input on the Bindery and exitPlan roadmap

In return: honest feedback, a case study that stays anonymous unless you choose otherwise (no premium or revenue figures without your written sign-off), and up to two reference calls a year.
